Plant the seeds,
Clear out the weeds
The rain will come,
Tears will fall
The waters will rise Montreal,
Rise up!
Kundalini risin’
All will go with the flow,
Down the drain
And to the water we will return.

Dive deep! Just keep swimming! Happy Pisces season!

We are Kings and Queens of a new world
It is a choice not an order
I bow to the God within you
Live by the sword
Die by the sword
Happy Aquarius season!

Mirror mirror in the sky
Nama Shivaya
The truth is all around
The weather is speaking loud and clear
Take shelter
Listen
Welcome Imbolc

The Lorax has always wanted a hat and has been searching far and wide for a comfy touque that would fit nicely on his head; especially now that it is winter and he really does not like to be out in the cold. Although he has came across a few good options on our adventures, I finally corked him a custom little beanie!

Planning for the future

(..even though you are here now!)

Now that the new year is here, it is a good time to set goals for the coming year. Think about what you want to accomplish, where you want to be, and what things you want to experience. It is very rewarding to actually accomplish all that you can if you set your intentions now and plan things out realistically so that everything can fall into place. Even though some things may not be realistic to accomplish at the moment, it is important to understand that things are always changing and so if we focus on taking one step at a time, we will eventually get there. By staying present you are taking action. The reality is that you are in the present now and it is the only place you can truly fully be. Of course knowing what you are working towards is essential, but if we get too far ahead of ourselves in trying to plan out all of the specific details, our plans tend to become less achievable because they are so far away from now. When we do this we are unable to see how things are going to change because as humans we are all constantly making decisions that effect each other and the economy we live in collectively. Essentially if we are putting our energy into trying to predict all of these future outcomes we are wasting our energy and not being present in taking the next achievable step. Always be grateful for what you have and the opportunities and resources available to you now and know that if you have the will, there is a way. We are in this together. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Take care. Don’t give up! Enjoy the moment.

Prayer of the day: Thank you for right here right now. Amen.

Gemini, wont you meet me eye to eye
Open wide, see to believe but you don’t need eyes to see
Come with me through the looking glass, back to ground zero
The tides have turned, catch a wave
We are earthbound where earth meets fire
Take my hand, now we have something to burn
Gemini, when you come out at night
Through the fire and the flames
I wish for something real.

Make a wish on this full moon! Light a fire! Happy Sagittarius season!

Bath time with The Lorax

The Lorax asked me if he could have a bath with me because he was a bit dirty, so I said sure, why not? We are close buddies and do most things together that don’t involve cats anyways. The Lorax is friends with the cats as well, however they each appreciate their own time and space with me individually. The Lorax dove right in to the tub and had a blast swimming, dancing, relaxing, and soaking up the suds! He told me that he definitely prefers having a bath versus getting washed in a washing machine; and to be honest so do I, although both methods work exceptionally well for cleaning fuzzy fur, and beards. Personally I don’t have either, and my body will not even fit in a standard washing machine, but I usually prefer a bath to a shower for many reasons. The cats on the other hand prefer neither because of course they are perfect and just clean themselves with their own tongue and antibacterial saliva. No problem, I’ll teach them how to swim one day and soon we can all share a nice bubble bath…

Letter to Alice

20181106_124556

Dear Alice in wonderland,
I love you! Books do contain pictures. Not all of them, only some of them of course because books exist in unlimited possibilities and unlimited possibilities live within books. They include an unlimited and infinite impossible things. By impossible I mean possible because anything is possible including the impossible as you may have heard. Of course up is down and down is up in wonderland, so do not confuse up with upup and down with downdown. Not everything is as it seems to be on the surface. Books are also a physical form of conversations; however they don’t even have to be physical. Some are, some are not. We even have books that are disguised as computers. They are a record of all that is and all that has been. They are a great resource of information for the growing mind. As the universe expands, so do our minds. Books are everywhere. Books are everyone. Where are you? Who are you? Are you a book? Just kidding, I know you are a child that is growing and learning and exploring all the wonder in the land. You are yourself, you are Alice in Wonderland; but you also live and exist in a book. After all, Wonderland is the book where I found you.
Straight to the heart, from the heart,
Love, Jude

Happy belated Samhein!!

I really wanted to carve a pumpkin and was not able to find the opportunity before the 31st of October came. I almost gave up until I found some pumpkins at the market in Montreal this past weekend since I was visiting the city. I carried one back home and focussed on the task of transforming it and bringing in new life to an owl it turns out I have met before.. The spirit of Sammy is alive and free! Happy Birthday Sammy!

Lesson of the day: Good things come to those who wait.

The path forward is not always straight. Generally when you are sweeping, you go from one end of the room to the other. However, most people don’t live in an empty room with no furniture or objects around them. Therefore you need to sweep around certain larger obstacles and pick up and move the smaller ones in order to clear away all the dirt. You start in one place, then sweep according to the path that makes sense based on what is around you. You eventually sweep up so much dirt into a pile that it finally gets swept into a dust pan to be thrown away. If you decide not to sweep, dust and dirt will accumulate and eventually your environment becomes full of it to a point where the particles could potentially even become toxic and a hazard to your own health and consequently everything and everyone around you if the dirt is not managed. Equivalently, the path through life is unique to every individual that walks the earth. We all come into our bodies through birth into a different family, a different situation, in a different location, at a different time. Everyone on the other hand, needs to take care of themselves, maintain themselves, and clean up after themselves as a human being. You alone are in your body on your own path and you alone need to make your own choices and decide when it is time to clean house.

Prayer of the day: And Justice for All. Amen.

Let it be known. Today is the day I accept my title as the dark mother.
